94-95 taillights to 96-98 taillights

Hey guys, i know I'm asking a lot of questions but bear with me please, I just wanna do things right and make sure I am before i screw it up.

I'm thinking of switching out the stock 95 taillights to the 96-98 taillights so i can have sequentials. If i buy the 96 taillights can i just take out the stock taillight, unplug the lights, plug in the new sequentials, and install the new lights? or is it a more complicated process than that?

What would i have to do? And i would keep the horizontal ones to switch it up here and there. I just like sequentials and the vertical ones better for some reason.

i think the 94-95 tail lights look WAY better than the 96 - 98, even with the sequential kit. however, if you want to do it, there are lights that look exactly like them that you could possibly do sequentials to

Not yet, I've found a "splice in" kit, where your splice into the regular wiring and it takes it away from there. I wonder if that would work also? I'm not for sure on it yet though.

i think the splice in kit is for 96-98 wiring... we first need to get that wiring and then we can use the splice in kit.

you dont need to splice or modify anything... all you need is the light harness itself. they unplug inside the trunk. If you go to a salvage yard, you can get them both for about $5... or cheaper if you wear baggy pants

You can get the plug in sequentials, I learned and just plug it into the wiring harness the 94-95 has and it will work. Had a guy show me last night.
