Starting seems weird

I have an upgraded ignition system (complete MSD) and ever since then my car seems to take longer to start, It will turn over for a good 4-5 seconds which is noticably longer but when it does fire up it doesnt sputter to life it just cuts on like nothing out of the ordinary.

Someone told me that because I am running a hotter spark the fuel pump get enuff fuel in the cylinder in time. I have tried letting the fuel pump up enuff pressure but it just did the same thing.

Does this sound like a fuel pump problem or if not what could it be?

Weak battery and cold weather. If you're experiencing the latter, you might want to change the engine oil to a thinner 0W or 5W weight to help cold start cranking.

I swear every time I hear MSD and car not running rite or starting issue's in the same sentence I've had nothing but bad experience with anything MSD. Then I find out I'm not the only one. I put all motorcraft ignition back in my car.

oh ok sorry was thinking something totally different haha, and I dont think(but not ruling out) the MSD parts are bad parts I had MSD on my camaro and never had any problems what-so-ever. the problems didnt arise at the exact time of installation, it just over time since then has seemed like it has been turning over longer and longer. it has gotten worse now that its cold. it takes longer if it has been sitting for a while(like overnight)
But during the day it doesnt do it as bad.
