questions about lowering.

What would be a "safe" height to lower be?
I just installed a chin spoiler would that rip off if i hit a speed bump?
Are caster chamber plates in the question?
Who's the best company to by lowering springs from?
And is it worth it to lower it?

I'm really thinking about lowering my mustang but I don't know if i really want to bottom out my car a lot. cause i don't want it to rip something off.

Any info is appreciated!

Edit: yes i bet this has been asked a couple time's but I really want to make sure before i actually do it cause i don't want to damage anything!

why? installing the parts isnt hard. You work hard for your money, right? Why not save some of it by doing the easy work yourself.

Install is really quite simple. Its a bit tougher getting the new springs in than taking the old ones out in my opinion.
I went with H&R sportlines. Lowered the car about 1.5 inches with new isolators. I waited to get cc plates, but turns out my alignment was pretty much right on after install. Install the springs, drive it for a couple weeks, then have alignment checked. If it can't be aligned, obviously get the cc plates.
