MAF sensor........I want one

Ok does anyone know where to find 70-75mm MAF sensors, 75mm throttle body, and a BBK cold air intake for cheaper than $600 for all three.

I dont mind spending money on my car but I just cant justify $210 for a stupid MAF sensor(completly overpriced for what it is)

So does anyone know where you can find them on the cheap

Now he knows........

Hit up Ebay or craigslist or classified section's on forums for them used. And I'm a big BBK fan but I was not about to spend money on their overpriced CAI. I got myself a nice new cheap one from Ebay and slapped a K&N filter on it. Same shit for way less.

Btw's you can try this with your stock 70mm MAF housing. I did it to mine. You won't fell anything but it does open it up for better flow with future mods. Did not affect driveability in my car. I found a thread once about doing it. You'll need some power tools to do it. I used a sawzall to cut the big pieces off and a dremmel tool to smooth the rest out.

^^^^ DONT do that, becuase it changes the flow characteristics of your maf, and will cause you to start running lean.

tested and proven

I wonder if you could compensate by raising the fuel pressure.

dont waste your money on a BBK CAI. the ebay ones work just fine. and they are about $110 cheaper.

as for a TB, you should get one that matches the ID of the opening on your intake manifold. and if your manifold is stock, you shouldnt bother with one

Ebay is just another online store for new and used products. Many big name stores like Steeda and UPR sell stuff on there. No need to be afraid.

AdderMk2' I thought you'd shit yourself when I posted that. I'm one of those old school guys. I like to get peoples opinion on mods but sometimes it seems like some just yell out shit they,ve heard but never tried. Sometimes you have to try things out for yourself. If it wasn't for people like me their be no aftermarket industry.
