Explorer Intake


Will i be able to tell a difference with a gt40 explorer intake? and will it be direct bolt on?

a little time consuming but pretty easy to install.you might want to change
the vacuum hoses that go to the bottom of the intake so you dont have to worry about leaky vacuum hose.Also use RTV on the areas that you normally put the F & R intake seals. The RTV seals better than the crappy
cork F&R seals when you get the intake gaskets youmight as well toss those stupid seals.

My factory 94 Cobra intake was ported and polished and takes in enough airflow for my stroker motor so they can't be all that bad....just look for one of those. I'm just guessing but you might have some technical problems getting everything attached and working on an Explorer intake.......

i think im gonna have mine worked. ported and polished. Then ill go from there.
