So I haven't had much time to work on it but I have got some work done. Called a couple engine builders to see how much it will cost to rebuild. They all asked a couple of questions about what I wanted and then said it will be tomorrow before they can give me an estimate. Anyways, I got a little bit more out of the engine compartment.

My boss gave me a spoiler off of his daughters Mustang. I don't think I like it like I thought I would. It doesn't go past the rear deck lid so I think I'm going to just keep the stock one. Before anyone asks, no there is nothing wrong with mine I just like the looks of the 99-05 style a little better.

I got a little more out of the engine compartment. I broke a few bolts in the block. One is in the water pump and the other two are the front bolt to the lower intake. Any suggestions on how to get them out?

If they broke clean and didn't leave you anything to grip take them to a machine shop. Otherwise soak them with diesel fuel or penetrant oil. It's no fun. Been there before.

I'll keep the saleen wing in mind. Right now I'm trying to get the motor and and suspension fixed on it now. I just brought the other one home cause it was free.

So I got the motor pulled out the other day and I'm thinking I am going to go with a 347 stoker kit. Total I'm going to have a couple grand in my motor and I don't want it to be off the road for that long (roughly 2 years). So my question is, what would be better, to go with a stock replacement ($600), or an Explorer motor (?). If the Explorer motor would be best, what year would be best and will it bolt right in, will I need to change out a bunch of things our is it drop and go? Thanks in advance.

You can find explorer motors for $500 plus shipping. Make sure its a 96 motor. You won't need special headers for the 96 since they have regular GT40 heads. On it you just swap your flywheel, fuel rails, oil pan w/pickup, headers, front accessories, water pump, and the dist.. Or if you are interested I can sell a drop in motor (just ad your front accessories).

[QUOTE=95_gt;3433347]I got a little more out of the engine compartment. I broke a few bolts in the block. One is in the water pump and the other two are the front bolt to the lower intake. Any suggestions on how to get them out?

If they're E7TE heads that you broke the intake bolts off in, screw 'em.........
ARP sells replacement lower intake manifold bolts.......thats what I have installed in my car.
As far as the broken waterpump bolts, they're broken into the timing cover, not the engine block. remove the timing cover and you might be able to get the bolts out that way. If not, you can find a cheap replacement timing cover on ebay.
