rrear axle shock


hey every1. what is that little shock on the 95 mustang gt rear axle that attaches from the top of the axle to the rear wheel well??? what is it called and where can i find some for sale cheep? thank yall

Its called a quad shock. I found some on ebay for cheap; they were OEM Ford too. The only time you should have to replace those is if they are leaking.
Most people just remove them when they install lower control arms----they are really only needed with stock lower control arms.

I didnt even think they sold quad shocks any more... I never see them

Yeah, if you get a pair of Maximum Motorsports rear lower control arms (worth every penny believe me), you can toss the quad shocks in the dumpster so save your money for LCAs instead.

i think ur about 7 or 8 hours away. u would be payin me more in gas to meet u than it would be to ship. there is a chance that i might be in the ogallala, ne area in the next month. if so i would be willing to meet u around there for u to pick up.
