From what ive been told about shift kits there isnt really one more superior or inferior to the other. I had my tranny shop put one in my 94 gt. Dont know what brand it was but it wasnt expensive and I havent had any problems out of it. Id just get one from jegs or summit or see if anyone else has a different opinion on the subject.

PA Racing street/strip valve body, which allows me too remain automatic but shift manually in 1st and 2nd with "tire chirping shifts". OR B&M shift imprver kit...(both with stall converter) .................and what is a good stall converter for the money for an aode?

As for torque converters, the stall rpm that you choose will depend on your engine's powerband and the gearing. With 3.73's, 26" tires, and a mildly modified N/A 5.0, I think 2300-2500rpm would be the way to go. If you do HCI, you could go for a 2800-3000rpm stall converter.
