oil pan gasket

Hey guys its me again lol. I've got a new problem. I thought my 94 was burning some oil, but after taking another look under the car my oil pan gasket is leaking. There is oil all around it. So how hard is this to change?

No I don't even know where the front or rear main seal is. But its not comming from the drain plug I know that. Its up all around the gasket for the drain pan. Is where it looked like it was comming from

the front and rear main seal is the seal at each end of the crank shaft, but it can leak down and with wind blowing the oil around it can look like a oil pan leak

What looks like a rear main seal leak can also be the rearmost gasket for the lower intake to the engine block.

You will most definitely need to raise the engine with either an engine hoist or a jack on the harmonic balancer with some wood. The gasket is a one piece so when the pan drops you'll have to get it around the oilpump and pickup tube. This is why the engine needs to be raised.
