Need some help/advice

Okay i have this 95 convertible GT and i am thinking about putting on some roush side skirts so i can do the whole side exhaust thing. right now im running a x pipe with two twister mufflers and i figured i would just be able to run som tips out the side. is it worth doing? do the roush side skirts fit nice without having to modify anything? if anyone can help i would appreciate it greatly.

Save your money and spend it on something that's actually going to improve your car, like full length subframe connectors.

Hey man, its his money. Let him do what he wants!!

There are lots of side skirts you could use for side exhaust. I think the main problem would be getting the pipes to bend the way they need to so that they fit. There's not a whole lot holding the side skirts on. Two big black plastic things on each end that pop out. Then there are multiple fittings that run the length of the side skirt that can also be popped out.

the side skirt wont be the problem. finding one that has the spot for the side exhaust will be.. im pretty sure it isnt made anymore so u have to find one on ebay or some manufacture who replicates it. at least for the sn95s they dont.

otherwise u can have an exhaust shop bend the piping im sure. a guy i know made his own that way. just used stock ground effects and had the pipes coming out underneath. somewhat like the 2000 cobra R

Well if you'd mentioned that you already had them in your first post (or posted a sig.) I wouldn't have suggested them.
OK. How about a 3.73 rear axle gear swap, or have you already done that as well?
You do have a very nice car though.

Indeed. I'm not stopping him from doing what he wants. Just trying to guide him so he can get more for his money.

I suggest you keep your 4.10 for now until you've upgraded the engine 'cause if you build it up as a 6000+rpm revving 302, those gears would work fine. You could always fit taller tires later on if you decide that the gearing's still too short.
What are your goals for this car anyway?
Here are two fenderwell cold air intakes for you to consider:

Granatelli Motor Sports 410035
Summit Racing SUM-238001

I hate to be the bearer of bad news. You will have a tough time finding a side exhaust kit that works with subframe connectors. The Roush kit won't. Tried it on a vert I had. Had to go back to the stock side skirts. You can find the side skirts used fairly easily. The problem is the tips for the kit. Roush stopped selling them awhile back. Ford racing used to sell a kit but, discontinued it a few years ago. I want to say classic design concepts offered one at one time.

You wouldn't happened to live in the south would you. Your car looks identical to my old vert I sold about 10 years ago. When I had mine it had the lightbar but it was caged by the next owner.

Where did you get the roll bar and how much do they cost? I want a light bar, but they are WAY overpriced IMO...
