Question

Mach 1 brake setup

I have a 96 Mustang with a 95 5.0 swap so thats why im asking in this section lol .I have a guy sellin the front brake setup which is spindle, rotor, caliper, and bracket from a Mach 1.I was telling a friend about it and he said that If i did this swap I would have to get SS lines and move to DOT 3 brake fluid is this true or can I use regular fluid and my stock 96 lines?

Regular is fine for street use just like dot 3 and your stock lines are also fine. If you were to start really using your brakes like say autoX or similar then you'd benefit from better fluid and SS lines.

lol... change over to DOT3....

IIRC, all basic brake fluid is DOT3, with the exception of the cars that require DOT4, and bikes, which use DOT5
