System hook up
I had the mach 460 system in the '94 and after everything went to hell I took the rear deck out and hooked up speakers all around. I'm curious now if I need to hook up the amp remote wire to the factory harness or can I just run it strictly to an aftermarket amp?
I don't see why hooking the amp wire to the harness would help at all if there isn't anything to be powered with the harness. |

I'm also hooking up a bypass for my Pioneer AVH-p4100DVD
Any comments on this? |

not sure i understand your question...the remote wire needs to be hooked to a switched source so that the amp is not always on...amp in the receiver or the amp powering the speakers...works the same on both.
