yeah i spoke to my friend and my stepdad about it today and they both said that sounds like syncros for sure.

swaybar
i had the same issue when i got my car ......
checked everything! got pissed as hell at it couldnt for the life of me figure out what it was ...... then by chance while under the car i grabbed the swaybar and it was completely broken at the mounting point .... fixed it and then the clunk went away hope this is what it is good luck |

Yeah my swaybar broke too but it wouldn't clunk when you put it into gear, it'd clunk around while driving. To be honest I wouldn't know. Call autozone or your local auto parts store.

My car made a similar clanking after I got my IRS...don't really know why it does it, and its only if I'm lazy and don't push the clutch in all the way or something.

It's not the Swaybar for sure. I think people are miss reading what I'm actually saying, but oh well. I'm going with a new rebuilt tranny or fix mine. haha Oh well.
