picked up a 94 GT

I just traded my 95 BMW 325is in on a 94 GT

Its my daily driver, I am not really seeing how far I am going togo with her since she has some things and it might be enough.

the GT :
76K miles on it
* long tube headers(not sure on the type, they need to come off and get cleaned up sealed and possibly wrapped
*full exhaust with flows and a x-over pipe
*Hurst shifter
*underdrive pullies
*gears (3.73)
*fiberglass cowl hood
*saleen wing
*painted twin spoke gt wheels
*smoked front lights and matching corners

the bad
needs tires
recharge the AC
no radio

I haven't taken any pics since the weather in tennessee has been so bad. Hopefully I am able to wash and clean her up and get some really good pics..here are the pics the dealership had uploaded for there website..

I just picked up a GT-40P setup and I was thinking of using the heads on my 65's 302 and was thinking of using the intake on the 94. I have the complete set up from the heads to the airbox...inj/maf/coil paks. any opinions

You might need new headers for the P heads. I think the MAC Long Tubes are the only ones that will work besides the Ford Racing P headers which are shorties.

thanks. but I am thinking of just installing the P heads on my 65 cpe's 302...I can get some tri-y headers and mod them to fit the P's..I thought the 94-95 taillights were the same going sideways..and the 96-98 were the vertical lights

Vertical lights are a must. IDK what Ford was thinking with fucking horizontal lights. New rims\tires and a lower, and I'd say you're good for a while. very nice pick up.

Anything about the explorer GT-40 intake? just the upper and lower or use the MAF and injectors

Correct. I personally love the horizontals. You don't see many cars with tail lights like those. Plus, it sets the 5.0s apart from the 4.6s.

You can never stop learning.

Hell, the only difference I know between fox bodies are the four-eyed ones and the one in your sig. Other than that I'm clueless.

Looks like a great car. I love my 94-95 tail lights too. First thing I'd do is lower it to finish the look.

I just replaced the rr caliper tonight..leaking ..no bueno..found that my u-joints are bad on the driveshaft...thats this week todo..I also have the explorer intake to clean up and install, since its litterally the same as the cobra one. I also found some other bad news..leaky rear main and valve cover gaskets...I am not sure how much that intails but I am not looking forward to it..the valve covers should be just swap gaskets and I should be good..

lowering her I would like todo but I dont want anuthing to crazy..maybe an eibach kit but wouldn't I need the camber kit also? I was also looking at the upper and lower arms for the rear end..later on an alluminum driveshaft

Ya keep the lights! I love the 94-95 lights it def. makes the 5.0 cars stand out over the 4.6 cars. Nice looking ride tho man. I just put a set of Eibach Pro springs on my car and it was just bout perfect. The roads a shitty round here so didn't want to go to low. I did camber kit well i was into it with a set of KYB adjustables all the way round. the plates a really easy to do i would suggest it. I did a set of Maxium Motorsports lower arms when i did my springs too. They are really easy too and if ya got the cash ya should do it since ya will have it unhooked to do the springs.

The rear main is a pain in the ass if it really is leaking.

Honestly, on any suspension part, I would trust Maximum Motorsports for lowering kits, LCAs, ect. They make a camber plate, so you can get the alignment back to normal after lowering as well. 1994-98 Mustang Starter Box [SBX-3] : Maximum Motorsports, the Latemodel Mustang Performance Suspension Leader!

This is exactly why I will never lower my car. Speed bumps are huge where I drive to, the highway needs repaved badly and not to mention my driveway is gravel. Plus, unless you have tall jack stands, a lift, or ramps, it's nearly impossible to do anything under the car even in stock form..
