Subframe connectors

Ok guys i am getting ready to purchase subframe connectors for my 94 GT.

There are more than plenty of choices to choose from. But i have some questions for those who have purchased and or installed them. Is there a significant difference from standard to full length subframe connector? Are full length worth the extra $?

Recomendation for installation. Bodyshop? Muffler shop? Approx cost for install? Dont wanna overpay.

Reviews on performance seem to be all about the same, they help prevent body flex, and they work.

So far im inclined to go for the Maximum Motorsport full length subframe connector, for 139.00 they seem worth it. Anyone seen them for less?

Mustang Subframe Connectors, Mustang Braces at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!

On the link, there are some 80.00+ dollar ones, are these about the same for almost half the cost?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

The full length SFCs extend to where the front seats are bolted to the floorpan so they're really the ultimate and, I feel, worth paying extra for. If I was living in the US I'd buy the MM SFCs in a heartbeat and yes, a bodyshop is probably the best place to have them welded in. You'll need to pull the carpets and insulation out of the way (you don't want them to catch fire) so it's better if the front seats come out to make life easier.

Deff get the full length's and have them welded in. They make a huge difference. I have the MM one's. I know guys who use the Steeda one's also. Plan ahead before buying. You want to keep it all from the same company.

So the seats, carpet, & insolation must be out before install. Got it. Im assuming these are bolt in/weld on sfc. I have to find a place that will do this install. Thanks.

they arent too difficult as long as u can weld. i got some full lengths off of modern restoration and had to put a slight bend in them to fit. other than that just bolt up to seat area then weld in the rest. i also had my roll cage drop down to it for extra strength.

Can u post a pic of where u had to bend them? It may be worth installing them myself, welding skills need some work.
