94 gt surging
94 gt. 5 speed. 140k miles. all stock
i got the car last saturday with a slight surge. once i drove it the 80 miles home it started surging even worse. once i shut the car off and tried to restart it. it would start then die immediately. i tested the TPS and it was shot. so i replaced it. it seemed to stop for about a day. then i took the IAC back off and checked it out and it was FILTHY. so i replaced it today. now it still surges every once in a while but not as bad. i have unhooked the battery to reset the computer to let it read that it has a new sensor and all that jazz. and even used a stethoscope to check for vaccuum leaks and cant seem to find any. what should i check next? im completely stumped  and it needs fixed because its my DD.

try checking and cleaning the MAF, i had a problem with that a little while ago.

i cleaned the mass air flow. it seemed to fix it a bit. its not as big of a surge but its still there.

i have an issue kind of like this on my 04 what do you look for when cleaning the MAF to see if its damaged

it did fix it for a while for me, but i think mine is a vacum leak.

i would check the line on the back of the intake. it is VERY known for being cracked and leaking.
