What next?

My list of mods is in my sig, and I want to continue. Should i continue with motor work, and if so, what should I do? If nto, should i move into suspension? Not looking for a drag strip application, more street.

I'm trying to keep it under 1000 for parts and do the labor myself, so the easier the job the better. I just want to push the car a little more so I can start "Charley Sheening" some "motor vehicle competeitions"

Cool

The next major step in engine work is HCI which will push you over your 1k limit, if you like how the car is power wise right now I would do some suspension upgrades, that way once you save up some for a good HCI you will already have the suspension in place to plant the power to the ground.

You could put a set of lowering spring to make it handle a lil better and some more bolt on power.

Lowering springs, a job that should be done by a professional im guessing? And I had a car before this one with crappy lowering springs. Does adding the lowering springs correctly still cause extra wear and tear on the car? If so, what time frame does it happen in and what should I look to replace along with lowering springs while it is being done to maximize efficiency with money

i would get suspension second and you can find some good gt40 heads for a good price and maybe some decent headers. but you should be able to lower your car by yourself, it just depends what kind of lowering suspension you want.

To take advantage of lowering a car, you NEED to buy the right shocks for it as well, to take advantage of the springs. I would recommend Tokico D-Specs as there are relatively cheap for shocks but, are aimed for lowering vehicles and adding performance. Also, any springs/shocks changes I would HEAVILY recommend getting CC Plates as Mustangs are very touchy when it comes to suspension mods.

i want to lower the car about 1.5 inches, and I want to do it right. I think I am going to skip on engine for now and do the lowering. So for 1.5 inches, any recommendations for brand and model? is Eibach just the most reliable or just most popular? I want to have this done right, so to lower it 1.5 and not have any problems, would springs, shocks, and CC plates be sufficient in creating a reliable combo that wont turn into a nightmare?

If you go to americanmuscle.com they have it all there that you will need. I am looking to do the same and I am going to put the H&R lowering springs, tokico shocks and struts, Maximum Motorsports Caster Camber plates and that should do ya. If you want a little more handling I would suggest the Steeda bump steer kit with the x-2 ball joints as well. But those are necessarily needed.

How about some full length subframe connectors from Maximum Motorsports? You'll notice a difference in handling with those.

Look into other companies besides MM. I know it's a good product, but the shit's overpriced IMO.
