Where to buy cobra rear bumper

I'm doin a cobra conversion on a 95 v6 that's getting a carb'd 418w I know where to get the badges and front bumper, I just can't find the rear. Is there some trademark thing that forces me to buy it from ford or am I just not looking hard enough?

Yeah that's it I was hoping to find it cheaper cause that's the same you'd pay at the ford dealer sounds like they can only get it under license or something to that effect oh well looks like I'm spendin money lol

well it depends. do you want a 94/95 Cobra rear bumper cover? Or a 96-98 Cobra rear bumper cover?
The bumper pictured in the link in post #2 is a replica of the 96-98 Cobra rear bumper cover. It will fit all 94-98 Mustangs though.
If you want a 94/95 Cobra rear bumper cover...............well, you already have one. Ford used the v6 rear bumper cover on all 94/95 Cobras and the 95 Cobra R.

I am aware of that ford used v6 bumpers on them but I figured since I'm choosing to do the clone to go ahead and do the 96-98 bumper anyway its not like I won't be putting a 5 digit number into this build already why not go all out on this money pit lol

I know ford used v6 bumpers on the 94-95 cobras and cobra r but I want the full cobra look I never liked the normal mustang bumper on the cobra and I figured since I am gonna have close to 20k in this thing in the end why not just do the full conversion since it's already a money pit lol

yeah I've got the same issues with my iphone. Sometimes this piece of technology could be renamed "iFail" lol.........
I didn't like the v6 bumper cover on mine either so I swapped it out for a 96-98 Cobra rear bumper cover that came from a Rio Red '97 Cobra.

Ive thought about this and you know what, its much cheaper to fill the mustang letters on your pumper and make the bumper smooth and by the cobra Decals and stick them on the bumper. If your going to paint the car you could even clear over them, Same look but for about $15 Bucks worth of COBRA Decals and your time effort and about $20 in shit to fill the bumper... Just my two cents..

I've got a rio red one from a 95 a bit of paint cracking but otherwise in good shape. Not noticeable from a distance.
