Hanging Idle when clutch in
Hello everyone!
Long time no post, guess I haven't had any questions latley I could not figure out! To the problem. Last time I checked in my IAC went out. I bought a new one and replaced it. Now it seems that my idle shoots up when clutch is pressed in. It will shoot up like 1k rpms hanging for a second then drop down kind slow then it will reach i think its under like 2k and drop down to normal. I asked a mech dude I go to and he said check my MAF, The other sensor thats connected to the intake, vacum leaks, and maybe the gasket on the IAC is messed up. Any thoughts suggestions? Also how would I go about checking for a vacum leak? Also sometimes when above 3k and letting the engine come down on compression (engine braking) the engine will stick at like 2300 rpms. Any and all thoughts appreciated! |

Thanks. This gives me some guidelines for the same problem. I suspect I know where my problem is.
