Question

89 5.0 engine in a 94 GT

Hey. I'm sorta new to this so cut me some slack . I just got a built engine out of an 89 GT and I want to swap it in my 94 GT. I got everything from the intake to the oil pan. Will everything just be plug and play or will I have problems with connectors on sensors and things like that? If so, any idea on where to get them and how to convert it over?

Thanks

Everything will bolt rite in if you use the 89's long block= engine and heads. You'd have to use the 94's front accessories on the new engine so all the plugs and connections line up correctly. Does the new engine come with a better TB and intake? If so use them but you'd need to modify a few little things. We need to know what exactly the new engine has cause it'll determine how you go from here.

it has a trickflow intake and a professional products 70mm tb. It seems like the tps and the throttle spring are in different locations. i think the tps is on top and throttle spring is on bottom. it also has a trickflow stage 1 cam and supposedly some headwork including 2.02/1.60 valves. is this a good combonation???

You'll need SN95 accessories and an elbow for the intake.
