If you're getting 25mpg or better out of your Mustang, you're not driving it the way God intended it to be driven. :
You can't enjoy the car driving like an old granny so trying to squeeze every last mpg out of it is pointless.

So many doubters here ..

My speedo isn't off. I have the stock gears and the stock 16inch wheels. The tires are only 5mm thicker than stock...(or is the middle number on tire sizes cm?) And when I got my speeding ticket the cop clocked me dead on at 83mph.

Anyway, the main reason I drive my car so carefully is because of the miles on the motor and my front end needs some work. Rack and pinion leaking, ball joints need replaced, all the bushings are starting to crack and fall apart.

For the first time ever my car smoked today . I'm hoping it was just burn off from putting in fuel system cleaner the other day. Hopped on the highway again at WOT, looked behind me and there was a long bluish-white cloud of smoke.. it didn't really smell like oil though, that's why I'm thinking it was the fuel system cleaner doing its job.

I average 10L/100km (23.5MPG) consistently for every tank of fuel (Bone stock except for O/R H pipe and K&N filter). That is mostly highway (85mph/h) and some city driving. If I just use a tank cruising at 85MPH I can dip into the 27MPG territory. I would think if one was keeping off the gas and there was no wind 32MPG is realistic. I read on the Corral that there was someone who fabbed up a plexiglass "skidplate" to cover up his K-member and got even better mileage. Getting good mileage is about acceleration( or lack there of F=ma) and aerodynamics. The only time I feel our cars are pigs is when i'm idling at a red light.
