AODE Problem!

I just dropped the AODE in my 94 gt. I bought a built AODE with a 3200 stall. I put the new in and started it, put in drive and nothing. The motor will kinda bog and feel like it engages but the car doesn't move. Same as in every drive gear.. Anyone know the problem? Thanks

Sounds like you got a bad stall or installed it incorrectly.

As Confucius would say, "Sum Ting Wong".
Sounds like the torque converter was incorrectly installed.

A really stupid idea, but does it have enough fluid?

i pulled it out again today and swapped valve bodies and made sure the filter wasnt clogged and made sure the stall converter splines werent stripped or anything and that it was installed in the trans and to the flex plate correctly. after installing the transmission again. i still have no forward or reverse gears. its really starting to piss me off. maybe its the pump?

I hate to say it but it sounds like your built AODE wasn't built correctly. I'd be talking to the person/company who built it.

How much fluid are you putting in it? I know it takes a boat load of fluid to fill the converter and everything.

i fill the converter with about a quart before install then after install i fill the tranny before running to desired amount then let it filter while running then top off where it should.. i also need some how-to on how to take out the pump in the tranny because ima swap them and if its not the pump then ive tried everything else and know its the internals.

When you say "built" are you saying you built it or had a shop build it up for you. If it was built up by a shop I'd take it in and make it their problem. I know AODE's are not cheap to beef up so I know if it were me I'd want it working as it should.
