3.55 or 3.73 Gears?

I just bought my 95 GT about a month ago. The guy i bought it from said that he put in 3.55 gear. My question is would it be worth the money to drop the 3.55 for the 3.73? Would would be the main difference that i would see? My car is a daily driver and i drive on the autobahn to work everyday usualy around 75-90mph. I am not really looking to save gas.

The difference is too small to be worth swapping from a 3.55 to a 3.73. Sounds like you're living in Germany so you'll want to keep the taller gears for bahnstorming.

i would go back to the stock 3:05s just for the top speed. my car cruzes 75 at 2k in 5th with the stock 3:05s

Yeah but then the stock 3.08 gears will also blunt in-gear acceleration. I think it's better to keep the 3.55s for now until the OP decides what mods he's likely to do and what his goal is going to be.
