would my 94 5.0 pace car cobra be able to take a 98 gt w/ 3.73's, intake, full exaust, and a short throw?

a 94 5.0 cobraonly had 240 hp at the crank. they were nothing special. If the cobra was stock then I'd say the edge would def go to the gt. in 98 they had 225 right off the bat, and i think the full exhuast and intake would make up that 15 hp deficit, if not get up and over by 2 or 3. Plus the 3.73 and short throw would def shave half a second off the car. I think the GT would have the race, but only buy a car length, if that.

heads, cam, Intake, TB, MAF, brakes, suspension...some other junk too.

it really depends on driver but i'd say the cobra will win. 98gts are SSLOWWW

no because youre a convertible(heavier) close to same #s and hes got gears unless youre a better driver and hit youre shifts

Not exactly your best bet at a sure win, but why not just race him and report back to us, paper racing never made anybody famous.

Thats the best way to put it,remember its not always the Highest HP car to win the race!!!! Go in as the under dog and win respect and braging rights,then switch cars and beat him in his own car lol only if you got those kind of gear banging skills
