I know you can used from late 1997 and up with the 5.0L , those also get the GT40p heads, I think you might have to go with a different cam, and you'll be good.. upgrade CAI, at at least 70MM TB

what does CAI stand for well i guess i will look for heads and intake of a 98 and newer 5.0 since they are gt40 p heads then maybe i will get them ported and polished are they aluminum or steel and am i wasting time and money if i do this and do the heads bolt right on with all of the smog stuff i called a wrecking yard and they said they needed a number there is 3 different ones

CAI - Cold Air Intake
I think the heads and Iron/Steen not Aluminum.

Yes, you can use the Upper and Lower Intake, and the Cly. Heads.

You'll need a 70MM Throttle Body, and someone here can recommend a cam for you to use with the heads and intake. Do a complete exhaust system too. if done right you might see about 300hp (Crank) or around 260-275 rear wheel horsepower

if you plan on using a blower or turbo use an E or F cam . the F cam is a has a rougher idle. Both of these cams are from Ford Motorsport and
arent that expensive. The E cam idles a lot smoother and would be more
stealth like than the F cam

the f cam has a rougher idle and will make more power on boost, while the e cam is smoother and should give you better driveability while working well with boost.you should check out Turbomustangs.com for info on turbo kits and is very informative if you want to do a DIY turbo setup
if you wanna savesome money
