Multiple newbie questions

I just got my mustang, I know about foxbodys but these sn95's. Here's the deal.

Where's the fuel filter?

Is my clutch tight because it's new?

I haven't yet got under the car but are the motor mounts hard to replace?

Fuel filter is under the car on the passenger side near the back. Follow the fuel lines from the tank, it's not hard to find.

Clutches are usually somewhat adjustable, but they do get looser over time.

The engine mounts are no harder to replace than any other car. Why do you want to replace them?

I'm also curious about your name for these forums. Is your car a 96 with a 5.0 swap? 94-95 were the only years with the 5.0.

Thanks for your help, well the clutch is real tight and I was figured it was because of a brand new clutch. I'm glad to here about the motor mounts, well my car needs them, theres a shaking and i got it checked out, a guy at the ford dealer uses a ford specialty tool called mts 4000 which is a noise vibration and harshness analyzer and it came back an 8th order engine vibration. Yes my car is a 96 with a 5.0 swap, oddly enough everything works.

My clutch had some vibration until it was broken in. IDK why but it was mostly when releasing the clutch (friction) and it went away after about 500 miles.

Wow an MTS 4000, I haven't seen one of those since I was in school, I worked at a Ford dealer for 8mon. and don't think I ever saw anybody use one lol.

If you know foxbodies, SN95s really aren't different in any significant way, at least not from fuel injected cars.

That's an old machine? That's what the guy said he used but I figured it was the motor mounts anyways because it vibrates when you rev it even while it's not in gear. I have a story to tell about the guy I got the car off of, wonder where I could tell it, it's a crazy story.

Interesting, well yeah the clutch and the trans have about 5k on it so I'm sure my clutch is broken in. But I wonder why it's tight. If your a small guy that doesn't work out or run, it would be hard for someone to push my clutch down.
