Tires
Well I am at the point where my car needs a new set of tires and I can't decide which route I want to go. My options are to get the same tires I have now, 255/40R17 Nitto 555's in the front and 315/35R17 Nitto 555's out back, or go with 315/35R17 Nitto NT05R's out back. The car is no longer my daily driver as I have a 95 V6 for my daily now which is making me lean a little towards getting the NT05R's out back yet I still drive the car once a week or so and the track is about a 50 mile drive so that would be a lot of miles on those tires when I start taking it to the track again.
Decisions, decisions.

Hard choice. Honestly, I would get the ones that will last longer. (not sure which one does, never had Nitto's on my car). Because if you are only running 14's it doesn't sound like you need a softer tire for grip. Especially with those wide of tires.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing, the regular 555's should hold me just fine until I get my gears installed and a better rear suspension setup.
