what would look good is 1996 O.E.M tail light

1996 oem mustang tail lights | eBay

I wasnt trying to be a dick, but those tail lights are gay.

they make those gay tail light for my mustang to and most of us will never ever put them on our cars. in my opinion mustang O.e.m tail light are the best looking, some may be blacked out and some may be clear, and its cool to swap them from various years, but any and all yuro tail lights are ugly. but its your money and your car, but a year from now you will regret it

How bout something like this. Different look and not ricey.

Stock taillights unpainted with a coat of clear with some black mixed into it sprayed on to give it a tinted look.

Here's what they look like at night

I like mine, just need to redo it and make them glossy looking. Not a fan of the 94/95 horizontal tails.....

Then again, you could consider the "export" taillights. I've got them on my '95 Cobra and I really like the unique look of them.

I love the 96-98 tail lights... on a 96-98. IMHO, the only tail light that should grace the hind quarters of a 94/95 are 94/95 tails. I really wish the aftermarket would repop 94/95 tails because they are getting harder to find and among the ones you do find, few are in good shape.

I say get ur stockers cleaned up and painted. They give the the rear of these cars a much wider looking stance.

Idk I think it just looks too flashy. Any chrome that big is just loud. I smoked my 95 style tails and regret it terribly... I wish I would have kept it original they were in great shape.

What's the difference in yours and Stock 94-95?

I really like those horizontal exports. I had planned on switching back to the horizontals before i get my paint done...i would love to get a set of those...ebay and google dont have shit on them except for people talking about and looking for them.

I think the biggest reason people switch to the 96-98 tails is because they look and stay much cleaner and require little to no maintenance. Also the bezels are easily removed for painting. Masking 94/95 lenses is a PITA and you have to get it just right or it looks like garbage.

What would be awesome is if the aftermarket designed a horizontal tail light with removable bezels!
