Best Strut

Ok I am installing my front caster/camber plates and find out that my OOLLLLDDDDD struts are blown(big surprise lol) so which off the shelf(parts store) struts would be the best replacements for my car, my car has Ford racing C springs so it is lowered ~1.25in.

I think it would be a waste of money to get "part store" struts. If your car is lowered and you have invested in CC plates, why not put a little extra into your suspension and get some struts that will improve your performance. I put monroes on my F100 when its shocks were gone, and I could not feel an improvement. I put bilsteins on my stang and now it rides on rails (almost). I have heard koni's are good as well.

If you are set on "part store" stuts, I don't think there will be a huge difference from one brand to the next. I would wait for a sale on "x" brand suspension and go that route.

Well the reason for the parts store struts was because I had the old ones already out and the front suspension already partially removed as I was in the middle of installing the CC plates when I thought about getting struts, I ended up getting the cheapest ones they had($50 each plus had a coupon code for online purchase that took $50 off a $100 purchase) since I will either just upgrade them down the road or I will be trading the car in this summer.

Just make sure the struts will match the spring rates on the springs otherwise you might have a bouncy car going down the street. The better shocks will be your Tokico's, Bilsteins and Konis depending on your budget.
