There are tests listed for light on no codes. Involves fuarther investigation. It is in the link I gave you. How about the Ford dealer with all the information and have a mechanic that has proper information?

I had the ABS light on in my '96 Cobra one time and there were not any codes either. After a search on SVTP, someone enlightened me to the fact that the ABS light will come on if the master cylinder is overfilled.
Just a suggestion, but try removing some fluid if the level was raised because of a recent brake job.
You could also just try bleeding the brakes.
