AHH.. damn, that there engine will twist your car into a pretzel! Roll cage, full frame front to rear, different differential. That would be a start.

probably quite a bit, the most expensive part is going to be the mechanic if you go that route, labor is pretty pricey ATM.

Cool

For everything to support that power you are probably looking at the $10k+ range with labor.

trans rear exhaust cage sfc battle boxes suspension fuel system basically your turning your car into a full on race car will cost alot of cash and idk about your driving abilities but if its pushing that kinda power it might be a recipe for disaster

You're basically looking at doing all the same things you would for a 460-swap (which is well documented), plus probably custom motor mounts, and a whole gob of chassis reinforcement. I'd be looking at something like Griggs' over-and-under subframe connectors PLUS at the very least a 6-point rollbar that ties the front and rear of the car together.

Then of course, the suspension and tire to get that power to the ground.

Dude, it must be an extremely good friend to give a cobra jet...i hope you drive better than you punctuate

My guess would be absolute lowest 10K if you are not doing the work...i imagine suspension and all the fab work needed to make that beast fit would be 10k or more...

Good luck bro!

If you're trusting a mechanic to install this engine for you, I'd learn how to do this myself if I were you. That or make sure you can identify that engine after it's been installed as the one you gave him to install lol
