This is from Mustangs unlimited's website.

1996 was the only year to get a grille between 1994 & 1998. Factory-style black honeycomb grille includes provisions to add grille emblem. This grille will fit 94-95 with 96-98 hood latch & minor modifications. This grille will also fit 97-98 Mustangs with minor modifications (small cutting to center area, small "shaving" to the upper area of the grille & removal of the tabs on end).

Personally, I don't like the grill, so I'm glad mine never came with one.
It's like having a Mach 1 grill delete.

idk 100% if i wanna do it but so many people in my town try to make their mustang to look like the GTS. I wanna stand out from them, but at the same time i dont want to change my cars identity. I've already had plenty of people go out of their way just to ask me how i got it to sound the way it sounds.

Why do people in your town want to make their stangs look the the GTS. I thought the GTS mustangs were pretty much the base model GT?

because most of them dont understand that it is just a base model, they think it is a performance car like the cobra r. and other ppl just slap cobra badges on there bone stock cars.

It fits but as already stated you have to swap over to a 96-98 latch. I love mine, without it I dont think it looks right. Thats just me though

not the best pic but if you enlarge it you can see it clearly
