Bbk shorty headers

Okay so I just picked up my 94 gt and a friend of mine had an extra pair of shorty headers so he gave them too me.

Now I've heard stories of them either being a pain to install or people losing power with them. So what do you guys think. Install or don't install?

throw em out. shortys are terrible as is plus those are BBK. Makes them just that much more crap. Collector welds are horrible.

I have BBK lt ceramic for 2.5 years with no cracks or leaks. Look at the stock and then the BBk. Which has less restriction at head?

Interesting reading, 5.0 magazine says that shorties are better for daily driving vs. long tubes..

That article makes it seem like the shorties might still have a bit of an advantage.

Since I have them for free anyway maybe I'll install them and see for myself what I think.

I like BBK and had their shortie headers for years with no issues. Sold them off for $100 and got a set of their L/T's. Throw them in your car. You'll be happy.
