battery Voltage

I have a 95Gt and this past weekend the battery voltage started to act up. When i would turn my a/c on the needle would get real close to 8 volt and felt like it wanted to shut off. When i turn the a/c off it go's back up to around 14-15 volts. I took it to advance auto parts so they can test the alternator and battery. My battery was good and alternator was bad. So i replaced it, the problem is still there just not as bad.

ANY IDEAS???
Need help fast!!

could possibly be a defective alternator out of the box, I have had one from autozone, so now I just shop at napa.

I'll say try a different alt, first. If same problem.. i'm not sure, but check for a short anywhere related to the a/c maybe.
