how do i take the stock radio out of my cobra?

I'm having trouble getting the frame off from around the radio i need to install my pioneer but i cant get the damn frame off to the stock radio out. any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I am pretty sure that you have to get tools to stick in the holes on both sides of the face.

Do you mean the modling piece?

Take your shifter piece out...It should jsut pop out...

And then just pop the trim picec that goes around your stereo and it also houses the A/C vents at the top...

Then you can use the tools to get it out...You can get them at walmart...Or you can make them out of a metal closehanger...But the tools are easier and are under $10 I believe...They come in handy...

I think they still used the ford tool until 00 but am not 100% sure...My stereo bolts to a braket and then bolts in place...
