High oil pressure
my '95 5.0 runs high oil pressure, the needle sits at the end of normal on the L its kinda wierd cause the motor is not over filled i drained everything out and put 5 quarts in with a filter change too.... idk what it is maybe the sending unit? input would be great thanks guys.

high oil pressure isn't much to worry about.. plus it's probably just the gauge acting up.. the gauges in our cars suck!

The gauge sending unit is probably to blame. If you can get hold of a mechanical pressure gauge, check the pressure with that to see what it really is. Then you'll know if the gauge sending unit is goofy.

found out the problem which could have been fatal.... there are two plugs on the oil pan and one doesn't drain all the oil out and when i got the oil changed they used the wrong plug and there was 2 gallons of oil in the car! which is like 8 quarts.... ill be changing the oil myself from now on.....idiots...

ahh yes, that might be why..... your average 16 yr. old oil change monkey at jiffy lube probably would never realized your car had a humped oil pan...
