HIGH TEMP.

I am new here. I just bought my 3rd mustang and have enherited a very strange problem. The temp gets uncomfotably high. The car is a 1995 gt 5.0 convertable. It has some pretty common upgrades. BBK 65mm mass air, mac headers, bbk exhaust and h-pipe, C&L cold air intake, underdrive pullies, and a fluidyne 3 core radiator. I have put a new water pump, a new 1600 cfm electric fan with , a new 180 deg. thermostat, new temp sensors, hoses, radiator cap, and head gaskets with all the other gaskets. I got it all together today after the head gasket change, went for a ride and same ole same ole. Got home and hit the heads with an infrared temp gauge and they were at 250-260. The radiator was at 190. I can drive 15 or 20 miles. The temp slowly climbs until it gets to the L in normal. If I turn the AC on the temp climbs a little faster. I dont know where to go from here. The flow from the radiator seems fine. There is no air behind the thermostat. Can someone please point me in the right direction. I know that the dash gauge sucks but it seems right on the money compared to the infrared. I am getting kinda worried. The motor only has 60,000 miles on it. The car has 120,000. Please help. Thanks

1600cfm is not nearly enough. what happened to your stock fan? it would have cooled much better. BTW, you should check the temp at the T-stat housing. thats the important one.
