O/D Button?

I have a '95 Stang automatic and my overdrive button won't work. i got a new button, the bulb for the light in the dash is good, and all the fuses checked out. i also drove it and hit the button to see if i could feel it work when i hit the button and still nothing. Any ideas why it won't work??

yeah the button doesnt work trust me... i dont kno whats wrong with it ive pretty much given up unless someone knos how to fix it...

Double check, one way I learn how to check is to drive 70MPH, and see how much RPM your doing. Then do the same thing with the O/D light on. Do 70MPH again and see if your RPM goes up, or the same as the first. Always worth to double check. After that, I am not sure, I suggest you research online and see how it works what is involved and check them out. Won't cost you anything but your time.

id love to check with the light on but it doesn't come on at all lol and ive tried to drive and play with the button and it doesn't do anything.
