94 3.8 to 5.8 need ecu help

94 3.8 to 5.8 need ecu help


i have 94 mustng that had a 3.8L in it , put a 5.8L engine with mods
and rebuilt aode trany. need help with choosing ecu stock or aftermarket

What wiring harness are you going to use?

If I used a stock ecu i would use a stock 5.0L harness.

will the stock ecu work with a Edelbrock performer rpm cam, 30# inj.
and 75mm throtle body? I think i need to get a recalibrated maf

You will need a maf that is matched/calibrated to the injectors and you'll also have to get a tune.

Also....(you may already know this)....be very sure the wiring harness matches the ECU that you use. Preferably from the same car, to eleminate any chance of mismatching.
