Upgrades compatible with supercharger?
Hey guys. I have searched the forums, but I haven't been able to find anythign that helps. I have a 95 GT and i eventually want to supercharge it. As for right now, I want to get new pulleys and an entire intake kit (from the lower manifold all the way to a new throttle body). I am looking at a BBK 75mm throttle body matching with a TFS street manifold. My question is will this be compatible with a centrifugal supercharger, or should I purchase something else to get ready for the supercharger?

Track Heat or Holley both are very good Intake, you'll also need the throttle body adapter since you got an SN95. Do yourself a favor when you install them trow away the factory gasket and use Black RTV, I used the gasket and the leak, I talked to darell and used RTV, and the shit didn't let out a drop of water.
I got a BRAND NEW BBK Hight Performance 75MM TB. Still in box never used. I'm sure you see this for for about 200-203. If you want it, I'll give it to you for 160 shipped to your door. PM me let me know if your interested.

You mention that you want to get new pullies, what kind of pullies? If you mean underdrive you would defeat the purpose of the blower.

I am definitely interested in that throttle body.
And I was thinking about underdrive pulleys. Why would that defeat the purpose of the blower? I have BBK shorty headers and some flowmaster mufflers. I'm looking into the cat-less BBK x-pipe. I looked at some TFS manifolds. The street one operates from idle-5500 rom (which is my redline) and the track runs higher. I don't see why I would need a higher one if I redline at 5500 anyhow. ??? |
