2 or 4 Cats?

Does a stock 95 GT come with 2 Cats or 4 Cats? I ask this b/c when I went to get emissions done the dude told me "you need two new catalytic converters" I'm not real sure if he meant the two I had were bad, they weren't emissions friendly, or if I needed a total of 4 to pass. He hardly spoke any english at all. Thanks in advance!

I have a 94 and it came with four cats. Two were up right after the headers and two were down by the middle of the car. The 96 mustang has 6 cats on it.

well Ive currently got an H-pipe with high-flow cats that seem to be EPA friendly.

Looking @ http://www.bbkperformance.com/products/exhaust.shtml near the very bottom.

"1663 1994-95 GT Mustang 2.5" X-Pipe W/Converters" Is what I have

I just dont know why the dude said I "needed 2 new cats"

we have four on our cars from the factory... w/ those high flows you should be able to pass emissions though.. he may have done a visual inspection and saw that you only had 2 or something.... just take it to another guy to get it done..
