New 5.0 owner
Hey guys I am new to the 5.0 world. I recently aquirred a nice 95 gt that was a one owner car, I am looking to mod the car, I was wanting yalls opinion on where to start. The only thing the car has done is a short throw and exhaust. So any input is greatly appreciated, I could just search this stuff but I know you guys have already been there done that and could be of more real help, again thanks

If I were you the first thing I would do is get either 3.73 gears or 4.10s for the rear differential. They give you the biggest bang for your buck...

Re: New 5.0 owner
Cold air intake Larger bore MAF Larger bore throttle body Underdrive pulleys Headers Offroad or catted H-pipe or X-pipe Performance catbacks Once you've done these "phase 1" mods, you could move on to "phase 2" which is heads/cam/intake or HCI. Phase 2 requires other supporting mods such as higher flow fuel pump, larger injectors, and a computer reprogram. Alternatively, you might decide to add forced induction (supercharger, turbos, or nitrous) or add more engine displacement (331 or 347ci stroker). So many choices! |
