Popping noise in the front lower area?

My can has recently started making a popping noise when I break come to a stop or turn the wheel when I'm not going that fast or not moving at all. I think it might have to do with the suspension or something. Why is this happening? Is it a severe problem? And what will it take to fix it? Thank you everyone for your support...

I am no mechanic but I have done alot of suspension work lowering and jacking up trucks and cars....Question? Is the car lowered or had racing springs installed? If the answer is yes it could be the springs are not seated well. Another possibility lowered or not is that you have a bad ball joint, steering stabilizer or pitman arm. The best way to check is to jack up the front of the car from the center and move one of the front tires back and forth and make sure there is no play (everything is tight) you should be able to see where the sound is coming from or if something is loose. While you are under there get a grease gun and hit all of your grease zerts on your front end ( that will help and in some cases has fixed the problem) if you can not find anything that has play and everything is greased well and tight it could be a motor mount or tranny mount that is the problem but you said when you turn so i think this may fix your problem...1 last thing ball joints and things in the front suspension are usually fairly cheap on rear wheel cars. ball joint about 10-20 bucks. Just try to get it fixed before it tears up something expensive or ruins your tires. Hope this helps

Thank you so much I'm going to get it on the lift soon... Now I believe the noise is coming from the left side and my tire is wearing really bad only on the outer side... could that have something to do with it???

Yeah buddy that will definately have something to do with it. You have some worn out bearings or ball joints under there. like I said those things are pretty cheap and easy to fix. Try and grease it up with the grease gun until you can get it looked at and it will probably help. if you have any questions just pm or email me
