What else would I have to upgrade?
I am looking to buy a Trick Flow Intake and do not have enough money to buy the kit that comes with heads, camshaft, timing chain etc. What all would I need to upgrade to just install a intake? Would I be looing at throttle body, maf sensor upgrades or what else if any? Any input would be appreciated thanks

if you want to install an AFPR while its apart you can but just R&R the intake and you probably should do the vacuum lines too.when you do the intake make sure to use RTV instead of the front and rear seals for the intake.but later on you should get a larger TB and MAF to unchoke the engine.

If you're only planning to install the TFS intake but are keeping the stock heads & cam, don't bother. The likelihood is that you'll lose torque at lower rpm for the sake of gaining maybe 10-15hp at higher rpm. The reason is that the TFS intake runners won't match the intake ports of the stock heads.
I suggest you wait until you've saved enough money to do all the HCI mods in one go instead of doing them piecemeal. If you want a higher flowing intake in the meantime, you could send your stock intake to Tom Moss so he can work his magic on it with a good port job.

Yeah save the money and buy the whole kit. It will save you ALOT in the long run especially in labor. I am also getting ready to install the TFS upper end kit on my car and pretty excited to get it on. Any info or suggestions on what should go with it or what I should do next would be great

Yeah, I suggest you upgrade the injectors to 24lb/hr and upgrade the fuel pump to 190lph (255lph if you're contemplating forced induction). The engine will also need a computer tune to run optimally so if you have a laptop and you're comfortable with electronics, you could consider the Tweecer RT.
