Transmission problem help please
ok i have a 2000 v6 mustang i established that i have a t-5 trans
1352-260 is the id number but anyway my 2nd gear is not working well i can shift into it at a high rpm from first but it still grinds i can down shift however eaisely if im sitting still i can push back on 2nd gear not using the clutch an the syncros will pull the car forward some so i dont think its syncros how many problems do t5s have with the shift forks in the tranny is it likely theat i bent it. |

I had the same thing happen sometimes it would go into gear and other times it wouldnt it turned out to be a broken shift fork its a cheap fix if you can pull the tranny yourself and take it to have it fixed
