94 5.0 cam & intake questions
well figure my first post here might as well be the most newbie question i could think of. so here goes its a 94 gt 5sp, i already have CAI, bbk long tubes w/ flowmasters, cobra wheels W/ 275/40's, a short throw and the smog pump was removed, shabbily but thats another story. its getting tubular A- arms and subframe connectors in a week or 2. other than that its stock. the question is, i want to add an E303 cam and an imitation edelbrock intake without doing any other mods? injectors are stock as far as i can tell should i just save up and replace them too? do i have to get a bigger MAF and throttlebody? is fuel regulator a good idea? im tryin to get the most power i can for a grand or less. hopefully. is there anyhting else that im gonna need or should do while im at it. im trying to keep this as cheap as possible bcz im a poor ass college kid so anything i can reuse or do without for the moment helps. any help or ideas are greatly appreciated!

A arms and subframes for one of your first mods? WOW thats amazing someone who actually is putting traction ahead of power.....smart move IMO most people jump in and say i have a stock mustang and i want a charger and etc. and never mention chassis/suspension.....why an eldebrock imitation? i would save up the 2500 bucks and get the trick flow upper end kit and go from there.........

Going through all the work required to change the cam and intake why in the world would you put the stck heads back on? Do yourself a favor and save up more money and buy a H/C/I kit like Twisted Wedge, Holley or Edlebrock. Either way you are going to have to get it tuned to get the most out of it.

im gettin a arms bcz my a-arm on the pass side is junk and it would be a waste to buy 1 stock a arm from ford for $140 when i can get both sides for 60 more. so then the next question is it doesnt make sense to bolt a H/C/I kit onto my stock bottom end W/ 160k. so i might just buy an intake then buy the rest of the kit when im ready to tear the motor down. oh and whats the best/cheepest mail order mags for stangs?
