Car is Done, needs another one.

hey guys, my cousin borrow my GT and total it today. I am currently driving my Astro Anyway it was raining, and he ran into a pole and total it, he's fine. I wasn't in the car so all lives are good.

Call my insurance company and with book value of $5,700 and extra value addons another $4,500. So I am getting total of 10,200.

I am thinking of getting a 323i BMW, but the inline 6 is bearly making 200hp. Any idea if that is fast for a beemer is it a light car?

Second option, get another stand, I love the 94-95 5.0, buy one and stroke it to 331 or 347, if i get the stang i want to be pushing over 350wrhp, so with 10K in hand will that give me a car and help built it to get that much HP?

I was thinking the BMW, because its a smooth ride, alittle good on gas.

Anyway what good option I got on the 5.0 SN95 to make that at the wheels?

thanks

personally, i would get the stang. i have a 94 5.0 cobra and love it. if you stroked it to a 347 and put bigger heads and cam on it, plus exaust and the other basics, you would probably make well over 350...probably closer to 450hp. i'm puttin headers, 4.10, and a cam in my car before christmas. then im gettin edelbrock performer heads w/ edlebrock performer track heat intake and upgrading my fuel system and doing some other little mods, then after i turn 18 and graduate im strokin it to a 347, and from what i was reading in the december issue, 450 is a very reasonable guess for that, they made 475 out of a 347, but it was carbed. but its your decision. both are great cars.

ok heres a cheap way to make 400 flwhp, all that magazine crap is hyped up bs!!!get the car then call coast high for the 347 street fighter stroker, about 900,then buy the trick flow streetbuner kit,it comes with heads, cam, intake, pushrods, roller rockers well basically everything for the topend its about 2500.then do supporting mods exhaust,70mm tb,70mm egr, bigger fuel pump, adjustable fuel press.reg, cold air intake.

if you need a link just say so!

note you should be around 360 at the wheels with a manual, and please it is in your best interest to buy a manual transmission, aod suck hp and break easily, manual break pretty easy but can hold more than the aodes

there are better heads out there, and edelbrock dont make a track heat intake, yea well its not easy to make 475hp like they say but believe what you may!

Well I already have some list of parts. Here's What I have, and yes if you got a link put it up.

So I was thinking if I got the BMW, with 180ish HP, not going to be fun and alot of money to maintain. So If I get the BMW, I'll sell these parts, but If I got another stang, i'm on my way there already.

TFS Upper and Lower Intake
BBK 75MMTB
BBK CAI
TFS Elbow for the SN95 Upper Manifold
24lbs Holley Injector (new, but I guess that will be too small)
Gripp SubFrame Connector
Gripp Upper and Lower Control Arm
Ford Racing 3.73 Gears w/Motive Master Bearing Kit
BBK 3 Piece Underdrive Pully

Now I got almost the TFS Street Head Topend. In the pic I got everything except the heads.

and Yeah, i'll never get a AOD.

NOTE* I got a 351W Block for free from a friend, how do I find out what year is it and if its a roller block. Should I use that over the 347.

Thanks guys
