they get the same input signal so if the speedometer part works but the odometer doesn't, it's time for a new speedo head

Same thing in my 94 - bad when it comes to knowing the end of your actual break-in period or routine oil change.

What is a TSP by the way? Where can we get that from?

Dude, click on the link I posted above. It'll take you to eBay, and cost you below $50 to fix that problem.

I'll be honest with you, I searched for it as you were asking about it and cuz you reminded me of a problem that was unresolved for a long time but I neglected it.

Anyway, looking at the seller's feedback, looks like the customers are happy, shown from their comments.. they seem to had their problems fixed in less than an hour. That's all I can say for now, until I try it myself.

Thanks for the information folks. I have a 97 Mustang GT and the odometer just stopped working on it. I had called around to see if I could get a replacement cluster. Ford dealer said he could get me one but the price would be around $500 bucks! The local salvage yards didn't have one either, but said they could get me one for $125 bucks! I ordered the repair kit for $43!! I'll post the results of the installation when I get the gears and install them.
