What Is Wrong With My Car?
ok i was missing bad during excelleration so i checked my injectors, rotor, coil, plugs, and wires. the coil was all messed up so i replaced it. then it go worse. it felt like i was on a derailing freight train. it was the roughest ride ever. everything on the car shook terribly. my plugs were fouled so i replaced em. they showed that i was running really rich. the car wont start right now. it has new plugs, which i put in yesterday, new coil which i put in sunday, new wires, and i changed the oil today, and made sure the battery was good. it turns over like it's tryin to start, but just wont. my next guess is either distributor, or computer. someone please help. thanks.

Sounds like the internals of your distributor are fubar. In some cases theyll melt which in a couple trips will throw off the timing which would explain the fouled plugs. Now it might be in two pieces or so out of time that the car wont start. Pull the dizzy and see if the shaft can be easily rotated by hand. As long as you mark it with a scribe at the point where the two collars meet youll be able to put it back in with out throwing off your timing if that is not the problem. If youve never removed one before its a 1/2" bolt that holds it in place. Remove that and mark the collars. It pulls straight up and out but you have to turn it as you pull it. You stated that you changed the plugs and wires so Id also double check that they are in the right firing order just as a precaution. Hope others chime in with their diagnostics to help you out.

did you check all you ground points? I forgot to put that one little ground back on and it screws everthing up. you might want to have your computer checked out

the ground wires that connect to the distributer, that would allow it to turn but not actually start, its really bad for the motor

and you probably shouldn't pay more than 80 bucks at a salvage yard for a computer
