Did Exhaust Now Temp Gauge Problems

hey everyone i have a 95 gt and i just did a offroad xpipe to 2 cherry bombs and everything went good the egr pipe is hooked up and everything went good but i get in the car and the gauge is pegged to the right not even in the hot to cold range lol its straight right... I changed the temp senser that goes to the gauge and grounded the wire to the gauge and all it does when i ground it is go further right about a courter inch and then back to straight right..... when i put in the new senser it did the same... lol i let the car warm up and made sure the fans kicked on and it didnt over heat. i got in the car for a test drive with the new exhaust and the gauge was normal again.... lol then i went for a drive and went home and parked it, got back in it about 30 min later and it was peged to the right again.... lol what the hell???? is it the gauge or what????

should go to straight to the sending unit pretty sure.....yeah the flows will make you happy I had them for like 30 minutes ....bought the car and took it straight to an exhaust guy had him build me an h pipe and put on the flows it sounded alot better not as poppy and loud more of a low deep tone
